Ok so...where am I? I got up today intending to do homework till about noon (I woke up at 7), and then work around the house, another form of homework.....

It's now 4:37 and I am STILL on the homework! Granted I took an hour off to eat lunch/dinner, but still.....way way too much time sucked up. Will be rather glad, in a way, to get back to work. I have intermittant periods of inactivity there that are just ripe for reading.....sigh.

In other news, I got hubby a computer. Did I mention I was going to? He was all excited by this transaction, couldn't wait for it to get here. It's been here a whole week now, and he has spent a total of two hours on it. WTF? Why did I just drop a thousand dollars on a box he won't use? Well, if nothing else, I have a back up if mine goes tits up, and an additional box to run Seti@Home on. Sheesh. I could kill him.

In fact, that may be taken care of already. He is going in for surgery #4, sometime in the next couple weeks. His wound still hasn't healed, and now the bone in his leg is starting to die....they think the infection has spread to the bones, and it's embedded under the screws. He is || this close to losing the leg, still :(

And his son and his daughter.......neither can be bothered to come see him. Daughter just called from up at her mother's house, and said she was on the way to Oregon with mom, the grandson, and mom's boyfriend (new boyfriend, been part of the equation, oh what, maybe two months, tops...) anyways, they were all en route to Medford to celebrate the mom's boyfriends birthday! Yippe. Now, WTF? She never called her dad, nor mailed him a card or gift, nor even bothered to come see him on his birthday.....and he was home, it's not like he was in the hospital. Beeotch.

I am so over these rotten, selfish, spoiled little children.

Like I said before, there will be no Christmas at our house this year, nothing will be forthcoming from us in the way of presents. And don't expect shit for your birthdays, either.

In 11 years, not one single time, has either kid given me a bday card, or gift, or called. Or even been willing to come to dinner with us, at our expense. So, right back atcha babes.
